Hello all,
I am plumbing my RODI filter off of my water line in my house. The water will pass through 2 brass fittings before it hits the filter, then will run through the filter into a 10 gallon tank with a float valve that will auto top off the main tank.
Will the brass leach into my system and destroy all?
thanks

I am no expert but brass is all over in residential house hold use. (in your taps, valves, City valves and so on) I can't see any reason for your consern because it has probably has past through about 20 or 30 other brass fittings before it has reached your house.

considering you have the brass parts before the RO/DI... its not a problem even if they do leech... which they dont in FW.

that is what i figured,
what about the float valve that has some brass parts on it? will that leach or does water not leach at all into fresh water?
