Mozambique tilapia babies!

Well i seen a few or rarely double tail Mozambique tilapia,i have a female with double tail out of the other 7 females and hopefully i can breed her and maybe get the double tail strain.Well here's a pic of the babies.

awesome, do you have any more pics of your mozies (local lingo). How do they do in a tank? Are they very aggressive to other fish? I'm putting a South African natives tank together and i've got my eye on mozies.

well they very strong fish as they can handle mostly any condition,had them in a community tank without any harm or deaths.The male is very colorful with black,shiny green and gold when mating.The females aren't aggressive unless carrying eggs and males are terriotorial like all chiclids.

im excited for you i have a mozie myself and he is huge i intend in buying him some company but right now he is a 55 gallon

Cool, my natives tank setup is well underway. I have 4 Southern Mouthbrooders and 3 Straightfin Barbs in it, and my female mouthbrooder is already carrying eggs after just a week in the tank!
I need to get a few more barbs 'cause they like schooling. I might get a few mozies or Readbreast tilapia too and see how they do. I can buy fingerlings from a local fish farm.
