Looks like it very well could be..I reccomend the salt method. I do it a bit differently than the article here outlines. I slowly add teh 2 tsp of salt per gallon, i do NOT raise the temp. I do leave the salt in for at least two weeks. It looks as tho youve caught it early, so get to salting!

Do I mulitply 2 teaspoons by 65 or divide? I want to be sure before I do it. My tank is a 65 gallon.

Multiply because its 2 teaspoons for each gallon. Dissolve it first in tank water and add it gradually.

Should I raise the temperature in the tank or its not really needed?

looks like ich. I prefer raising the temp along with the salt to speed the life cycle of the ich.

you may run into trouble with your plants and the salt.

Plants are easy to replace..the fish, not so easy.

I have not had ANY problems with my plants in the time it takes for salt and heat treatment. I just recently had to treat a very heavily planted tank with salt and saw no ill effects to the plants.

some plants handle salt better then others.... again the higher temps just help speed up the life cycle to help get it over faster.
could always take the plants out

You don't think it is something more then ich, looking at the fins and the tail?? I know it is tought to tell.

the fins and tail appear to be previous damage and appear to be on the mend.(notice the black line on the fringe of the tail)
I suspect ich too.

The tail definitely looks like its got a bunch of damage, not sure what it could be though. The eye on that angel also looks really large, especially compared to most angel pics I have seen.

The eyes look normal to me. I have four angels with the same size eyes. It might just be the pic that makes the eye look like that. The tail is fine and so are the fins. I think its just ich which Im in the process of treating.
My German ram has the ich also. So far those are the only two and hopefully I can stop it from spreading.

raise the temp to 80 or 82 degrees and add salt

Angels can tolerate 86 degrees. They'll be fine there. Maximize oxygen levels.
