Filter Clams?

Where can I find some freshwater filter clams????


I can find some in the wild here in texas little yellow ones, about 1 inch across but they are like a hour away :(
 
I am not certain where to purchase them but I do have some warnings. They can be very difficult to feed and monitor in a tank. If they die, its not always readily apparent and its easy for them to foul up the water because of it.

:iagree:, there are established populations of the clams you want in the petstore all over the US.
