I got a 1" convict JD from my LFS, and he's in my 55, but is getting bullied by my Blood parrot. Until i can move my blood parrot or get another tank for the JD and a few others, would he be ok in my planted/cycled 10 gallon? I know they get 9"+, but he is barely and inch, so should he be fine for now?

ok cool. I knew i shouldve held off on getting him, but he was so small and perfect design, I had to have him.
 
lol yea baby fish are like puppies. They're so cute you just every puppy you get a hold of. But yea a 10 gallon is fine, he'll prbably be fine in there for a while depending on how fast he grows.
 
Yea, cool! My search will start for a female! How young can they mate?
 
2.5in for mating. on MFK someone has a bunch of JD x Cons.. to tell ya the truth im shocked no ones chewed you out for buying a hybrid. personally i love hybrids, but please dont introduce any fry into the hobby
