Ok I want to have baby ghost shrimp and it has been an unsuccessful battle for a while now, I was just informed that they need brackish water to survive. ok my brackish friends what do i need???
NAME IT ALL I AM NEW TO BRACKISH & TO FRESHWATER!!
It will be a 2.5g tank

Ghost shrimp don't really need brackish.
you have cherry shrimp, and they will breed readily (provided you are taking good care of them). As several people have mentioned on your threads, some ghost shrimp do/do not need brackish water. In either case, the offsping will be extremely tiny and probably not visible with your eyes. Just wait around for a couple of months and you might see tiny baby ghost shrimp.
By this time you will might have baby RCS, so that should scratch any "breeder's itch" you may have.

thanks, no babies of any kind yet, mommie Ghost shrimp is going to have some eggs soon I see it begining. Thanks I really didn't want to have to deal with brackish!
