best in shrimp only tank really any fish will go after the babies.

it all has to do with what you want to risk. what ever you do as long as there is plenty of plants and hiding spots they should for the most part be fine but some will become dinner.

well my tank is well planted. and is growing a java moss wall and glossostigma.

if they will fit in the fishes mouth they will be lunch. although adding or having hiding places will benifit the shrimp, they will almost hide all the time if they feel threatened by any other tank mates / enemies.

i use 1 of my shrimp tanks to grow out fry with no probs.

shrimp only tank is the way to go.

I had tiny fish, threadfin rainbows, galaxy & micro rasboras, with my cherry shrimp. It was quite a while before I found baby shrimp & I know many were eaten even though it was a pretty heavily planted 20g long.
I just set up a shrimp & snail only tank 10g. In 6 months I went from 10 shrimp to only ~30 including very tiny ones, others have had 100+ in less time.

its a 10gal. but now that i got all your suggestions, i am just let the tank be the only shrimp tank. thanks guys
