maybe you should be a bit more careful?
I have cheap $2 glass topfin thermometers that have lasted a decade, lol.

me too! :grinyes: not a decade but easily 5 years :) Try keeping it higher in the water column looks pretty low, where bottom dwellers can run into it.

them 2 dollar ones work for me also, I've never had to replace one. Unless I lost it. Both the ones that sink and the ones that come with the suction cup. I've had suction cups wear out on me though.

i think he broke it.... i have a glass cheap one that i throw all over the place and never broke it lol

It didn't break. Its still working, Except that the markings have disapeared. And I paid... 0.50 $ for it.

^How about a nice tank with no place to put it? I have a $2 glass one too that has lasted me about 4 months so far, but I lost the suction cups so It floats around and usually stays in a corner where the filter current can't get to it.
