1. 10 gallon tank, took nitrites over a week to rise from 0 to .25 ppm. Sounds like it's about cycled, huh? :)
2. How many ppm of ammonia and nitrites are lethal to fish? (Forgot, sorry.)
3. I purchased the "Deep Blue Sea" Background from BigAls. I had it before for my 55 gal and it looked great. I put it on, rubbed the bubbles out. A week later, and now it just looks black. I noticed it starting to get "speckly" black, now it just looks black. I took it off, and it was dry. I noticed that it looks the best when it's wet, and put on. How exactly are you supposed to put them on so they look good? If I just press it against the glass with my hand, it looks like, well, a piece of glass with black paper on the back of it. I can "see" the glass. However, I spilled water down the back of the tank unknowingly, and pressed the background on, and it looked great! (This was when I first put it on.) Is there some way to adhese it to the back so it looks "wet and shiny"?
Thanks you guys. Glad the old place is still around.
