I'm contemplating getting some Malaysian Trumpet Snails - Melanoides Tuberculata to help keep the sand substrata in all my tanks airated and I was wondering if their shells were too hard for my Dwarf and South American puffers. Is there a chance that they could break a tooth?

I guess no-one has any experience with these snails :( ...guess I'll try elsewhere

they have been known to break pufferteeth. Didn't I answer this on another forum? It seems like this one has slowed down a bit.

Yup you did answer on another forum, and I thank you for taking the time to do so both times. I also noticed that the forum had slowed down and was hoping to spur a few anicdotes from folks who had kept the little fellas. Upon re-reading my post I sound like a little kid sulking  ...sorry, not my intention:D
