Another "how many gallons" question..

I am trying to figure out how many gallons my buddies tank is. It is 30 inches left to right, 12 inched front to back, and 12 inches tall. Any one can tell me I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!

thats 4320 cubic inches = 18.7 gallons

i'm sure it's actually a standard 20 long tank. slightly less than 20 in reality, but a little more than 18.7 gallons. i think it's actually like 12 1/4 not just 12 in actuality or something like that.

With all that gravel and decor in the tank, there will be alot less water. Keep that in mind if you ever have to treat your tank with medications. Also it would be easy to overstock that aquarium as its not really 20 g, it will be more like 15 g.
