What would the best filtration to use on a 135 gallon planted tank?? I am planning a heavily planted tank so i will have high wattage lighting, c02, and ferts, and i don't want to offgas to much of the c02.

I was thinking about doing a a couple overflows to a sump, but maybe a couple cannisters would be best????

Also what would you guys do for lighting???? I want to have some medium-high lighting plants.
 
Ideal for me would be a 55 gallon sump. I have two Marineland C Series 360s on my 135 gallon black angel tank.
 
thats what i was thinking i have a sump and everything for it but i want a nice heavily planted higher light tank, so i would need to make sure c02 wouldn't be hard to do due to of-gassing.

(o and i ment to post this in freshwater planted area)
 
I don't know much about C02 but could you run some into the sump to help with off-gassing ? or does it even matter ?
 
sumps unless thay are designed or modified to cut down on CO2 off gassing arn't worth it in planted tank. personally i would go with two eheims or C-360.

btw what set up are you suing for CO2?

"13" the sump is where it would get off gassed so it wouldn't matter and you probably want it in tank if you do it that way
