I recently moved my fish from this hex to a new tank, because I felt that it was "inhumane" to keep them in such a ridiculously small tank. The tank was a "freebie", I did not buy it......

Now I have this tank with nothing in it. I would like to set it back up with something (other than fish) in it. What do you suggest?

Aquatic Frog?
Snails?
Shrimp?
Maybe a single crayfish?

Anything else?

What kind of fish do you have?

Right now I have nothing in the tank. I moved all my tetras and cories to a 20L. I do not want to put any fish in this hex tank. Rather something else...

I don't know how well it would do, I'm guessing it would be fine but at Big Al's I saw some electic blue crayfish. They are really cool looking and would be fun to have.

The only problem with the crawfish is that, like many fish, they don't swim up and down much and might be a little cramped with a small footprint. A pair of dwarf frogs should do really nicely though since they can utilize the space better.

There are a ton more sites about them, but those two are a good starting point. Neat critters!

Dwarf frogs and shrimp are both pretty cool. Crawfish are fun to watch but I wouldn't put one in a small tank.

I'd use the 10 g. hex as a Quarantine tank, if you don't already have one.

Thought about the quarantine tank.... Maybe I'll do that until I figure out what else I can "squeeze" into it......

I'd never recommend this type of tank for any fish.....

A snail tank sounds interesting also. I might even try that. My loaches would love it.
