10 gal tank stocked with 1 beta, 2 neon tetras, 1 oto, 2 albino cories, 1 brown cory. The beta likes to chase the brown cory quite a bit and I think it bit it's eye out. I thought the cory wouldnt make it but it seems ok now. Why would the beta focus on the one fish and completely ignore the others? One more question, I feed the beta and tetras flake food and the cats tablets. How many tablets should I feed at a time. I have been feeding two at a time and waiting till they are gone before I feed again.

How long have the betta and cory been in the same tank? If it hasn't been that long, then the betta may back off after a while.. It just depends on the betta. If it continues to be a problem, then you may need to find the betta a new home.
some bettas will attack any fishes in the tank , some times focusin on one ( even in same species ) and he will kill them if he can , it depends on betta , once i put 2 tetras in my tank , at first betta didn t notice them that much , but after a while , he starts to beat the hell outta them ! i tookem out , put a plec and after a week he starts to beat him too ! i would took out all his mates in the tank and leave my betta alone by himself if i were u .
anyway u can feed the betta with frozen or dried bloodworms , mine eats small dried shrimps too , but i feed them most with Sera Betta food ( it says Sera bettagran on it ) flake foods is not that much a good food ( dosn t contain much protein ) ..and never ever overfeed the betta it will kill'em , they will eat as much as u givem . i donno bout flake foods but i give mine 3 or 4 small blood worms or 2 or 3 betta food , twice a day .. good luck

Used to have Betta in a 2 gallon bowl and it seemed very listless. In 10 gal tank very active. Don't like leaving in bowl, doesnt seem fair. Cory is way too fast for Betta except the time it may have got him in the eye. Almost seems like cory learned to just not move when betta comes around. Betta only starts chasing when cory runs.

2 neon tetras? I would suggest getting some more, they'll be happier with a group of six. Good luck with your betta!

I would say that if the eye was for sure bitten off by the betta that they should be separated immediately because my guess is that problems will continue.
I would find something like a 20 gallon long for the corys (c. aeneus really need more room than a 10) and you could move the tetras over and setup a nice SA tank. It sounds like the betta really isn't a good community fish...I personally wouldn't risk it any longer.
