I know, we shouldn't have saved the baby platys, but we they were so cute....
:headshake2:
The first 2 we fished out of the 10 gallon tank housing their murderous parents spent their first month of life in a tupperware container where we put our plant clippings. It was barely a gallon of water, but I did almost 100% daily changes.
Then, after we'd fished out about 8 more, we decided they needed an upgrade. In order to convince ourselves that we were not really setting up another tank, we said "It's just a place to put plant clippings, so we don't have all those tupperwares cluttering up the shelves."
:liar:
So, here's some pics of our new "place to put plant clippings." Which has a filter.... And cute little baby platys....
It's just a random tangle of java fern bits, java moss, and watersprite in a half-filled 20 gallon tank (which used to be our QT). But I'm kinda liking the "natural" look.
