Its been up and running for about 4 months now.

Sorry about the cellphone pics.

AGA 10 gallon, Cascade 500, Milwaukee Regulator, 5lb Co2, 40 Watt Satellite 6,5k/10K, Stealth 200 Watt Heater, Co2 line ran in the filter intake(working great for near 5 months). The whole Pfertz line. 17 Pounds of Flourite.

16RCS - 3 Ottos - 9(Mature)20+(Babies Sunset Platies - 2 Cory Cats - 30+ River Snails - 3" Raphael Catfish

Java moss, Java Fern, Wisteria, Fox tale, Purple Waffle(now removed), and 2 that I can't think of at the moment.http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

My 10 is like a w**** house though, anything in it breeds like crazy.

Very nice, thanks for the pics. Lots of fish in there. Looks like you will be in the Platy adoption business shortly. How does the 200 watt heater work for you. It keeps the temp steady?

Thanks! Yeah your not kidding and selling RCS, have about 9 preggos.
As for the heater my tank is 76 on the head all the time,

Awesome. It looks much bigger than it is. I would have guessed it to be a 20-30G tank just by looking at it.

I have a bunch of platies in a 10-gal, very similar to yours. I let them control their own population, and they do a pretty good job. I also don't overfeed, them, unless I happen to want them to leave the fry alone for a bit. The most I had at one time was 18, which sounds like a lot for a 10-gal, but I've never ever had water quality issues. The average seems to be 15, and they sure look happy. Nice tank, reminds me of mine a little, except I never had java fern.
