hi
I have a denitrated reductor in my tank it has been running for 2 weeks now and the first week it was producing 0.25 ppm and this week it is producing 1.5ppm.
Is this normal or not.
Thanks

NO ammonia. the tank is fine it has been running for 2 years now. the readings i said before is coming out of the nitrate reductor not in my main tank. my main tank readings are fine its just coming out of the nitrate reductor.

I wouldn't worry too much. Nitrite is practically non-toxic in seawater, even at relatively high concentrations. Just do a reasonable sized water change and change the settings on your reductor. I am not terribly familiar with reductors, but if I remember correctly, I believe you need to slow down the water flow-thru rate to reduce the oxidative environment that is conducive to nitrite production.
