What settings do you guys use with a basic camera for taking aquatic pictures? I don't have anything too fancy, and nothing ever turns out right

i always just use a random point and shoot camera and what i do is turn all the lights in the room off, except the tank lights, turn the flash off on the camera and you should be good to go with that.
if you wanna take a picture of something in the tank just make sure the glass is really clean or your camera may try to focus on the galss itself instead of what your trying to take a picture of.

lots of light will help. depending on what your trying to do will define what settings you want to use.... best idea is just to play around with it.
