Got a couple of plants from PetSmart to put in aquarium when I set it up. Of course they didn't have tags. I know what the amazon swords are but 2 I bought I don't rally know.

1st one-

2nd one-Looks an awful lot like Mondo Grass, which I didn't think was an aqua plant.

I think fishorama is right- looks like Acorus. Another non-submergent plant has been foisted on you.

Dang...guess that what I get for relying on what was in the tank at PetSmart. Might have to go Dr Fosters Smith or another plant delaer.

Any recommendations on where to get some plants and any ideas on what to get. I would like to have a couple that have a reddish tint to them.

Since they seem to be non-submergent would you remove them then....

I'd remove them they will likely die in a couple of weeks.
I'm pretty sure you could return them if you kept the receipt, petsmarts return policy is very lenient.

What kind of lighting do you have? Different plants have different light requirements. Lots of members sell great quality plants here, and they are often cheaper than you would find at a big box store, either those online or elsewhere.

Ive got two lights.

Each light has an 80W 10K white and 80W 10K blue for a total of 320 watts. I was looking at some of the members in the classifieds. ANyone have any good member recommendations for plants?
