AKA - Black Spot Barb
I have 7 of these wonderful, active community fish. 6 males and 1 female. They are approximately 5 inches long. They are omniverous and like to dine on plants like crypt wendii, java moss, and young shoots of anubius. This is why I need to get rid of them. I like my plants too.
These fish have bred and I have two juveniles as a result. Currently, they are in a 180 gallon and use all the space all the time. They are very active and I recommend a minimum of a 150 gallon to get that 72" swimming length.
It is next to impossible to get still photos of them. Here is video: http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z284/swancrane/?action=view¤t=AdultPuntius.flv
Here is a still (attempt): http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z284/swancrane/?action=view¤t=000_0003.jpg
Will accept best offer or trade for non-plant eating fish.
