I am looking to restock my 125 gallon tank soon. I had a couple of deaths recently, so I will first try to determine what happened and make sure water is of good quality and safe.

Tank is 125 gallons, 6 feet by 18 inches
Currently in the tank: 2 Severums, 1 Silver Dollar (his friends are what died)
Filtration: 2 Aquaclear 110, 1 HOB rated for 55 gallons, and XP3
Decor: gravel, driftwood, fake plants

Clearly I will need to add some more silver dollars. The severums have tried several times for babies in the past, but the eggs always turn white and they eat them. I don't know if they are both female or what the problem is. I thought about adding some more severums, but I was concerned they would than pair off and be successful (really not interested in breeding).

So if it was your tank what would you do? :help: I look forward to hearing your opinions.

I would add more Severum and try breeding, but if not that maybe Uaru, Acara or Firemouths.
