I have been growing this in my fish tanks for a while now. I have about 25 pieces in total, but I am only selling 5 right now. If you live around me, you don't need to buy it through ebay, and you can pick it up. Whatever works for you.

All the info can be seen right here.

Thank you! :)

You do know that bamboo is fully aquatic and will rot away after a couple years of being fully submerged. I had to explain this exact thing to a petco employee today.

You know, I wanted to say that too, I just didn't want to be the first to do it. *shrugs*

And really, this is the same plant they sell at the 99 cents stores..

I think you meant "not fully aquatic."

*sigh*

Please dont sell this as a fully aquatic plant. You further the trade of non aquatic plants and in my eyes are fooling somebody into buying something that isnt what you claim it is.

It's not bamboo "really", it's lucky bamboo and yes it will eventually rot away in a tank. Take it from someone who recently learned ;)

I had some bamboo growing in one of my tanks before that the light was hung above. It grew really good out of the water untill my cats decided to eat it. It was funny seeing it with lots of holes in it from their teeth or finding it some where around the house dried out, after that I gave up.

I thought it was fully submergable as well... we bought two beautiful stalks... then found out all the junk behind them... yeah we now have a glass on the counter with the bamboo.

lucky bamboo = dracena sanderania = non aquatic. Though the roots can be submerged, submerging the top can/will kill the plant, no questions asked.

is it okay to have a little of the top submerged?

Ok. I will change my ebay listing. I also thought it was aquatic. Atleast thats what my LFS said to me when I bought it a while ago.

*I have changed the listing. I am sorry, but I was also mislead.*

You can still grow it as an aquarium plant, but the crown of the plant must be above the waterline. I have seen them used many times in refugiums and even stuck in hob's if yu can believe that.

Thank you very much for changing your listing!
