Here's a picture of my baby Badis fish.

I only get about 1 Survivor a year but they lay eggs all the time.
The female lays her eggs the male guards them, and then he seems to like to eat them after a week or two so they never get a chance to get big, but once in a while I get a survivor :)

I discovered this one about 2 weeks ago. The baby is a max 1/2"

The other little baby in the grass is about 1/4"

Yeah just the 2, the last one to survive was about 2 years ago.
I originally bought a male then a female and now I have 5 + 2 babies after about 5 years.
Only got 1 male.

Thanks

The will actually change their color pattern when they get older, the are also called Dwarf Chameleon fish

The male will turn very dark purple to black when spawning with iridescent blue on his fins, looks very cool.
The females mostly stay light brown, sometimes with stripes, sometimes none at all, sometimes reddish tint sometimes light brown or darker brown. :grinyes:

Nice jag.... great looking little guy! I had to laugh at the arrow picture... even with the big white line I could barely see him.

First 2 pictures are the Male; very hard to take a picture of him because he is always in his cave and never comes out, I had to use my flash light to light him up..
His dark purple black color only last for a couple Min's when no one is close to his tank and the ladies are close by wanting to spawn. Very cool colors but to hard to capture with a camera.
The rest of the pictures are the females.
