Went to get some Cories and came home with this tiny, black Betta. He is little but mighty.

Very nice looking Beta
I don't normally like store bought Betas but that was is very cool, I never seen a black one before. Was it a special one or is it a everyday Beta stock?
I would love to buy one of those and drop it in my Badis tank :)

He came from a local breeder in San Diego and I got him at my local Mom and Pop FS. He took bloodworms from my fingers this morning. He is a little sweetie.

great looking betta, I saw a black one once in the store but they sold him as a "show betta" and he actually had a goldfish bowl instead of a cup. The fins were the same, I haven't seen a longfin black betta yet. But awesome looking betta you got there, hope you figure out what kind of cories you have lol.

He's still young it seems, but his fins should grow longer. He'll turn out a splendid betta no doubt! I had a nice black crowntail from Faith from bettatalk.com, he was also a beauty!

I have decided that I have some Brochis, some bronzes and the two new ones are Corydoras trilineatus. Everyone seems happy and are shoaling together except my hyperactive albinos. The Clown Loaches are going to their new home today. Wish me luck with the transfer.
