Maybe we should have a video forum... just a thought. I made a wire handle and mounted the webcam to it. I stuck the works in a bag and taped it shut. This is my first stab at the submersed fish tank cam.

This was a concept test... now I have to build or find a suitable enclosure with a clear flat side.

you can get acrylic at homedepot and make a small box to cover the camera. If its a cam which you dont care much about, you can seal it completely in the box.

Ofcourse another idea is to make a long box and seal the bottom of it, having just the top open. That way you can have it above the water surface and simply place the camera along any distance in the box to get a different view of the tank.

Pretty sharp, Q! I like Bk's idea.

I think if I can find the right size PVC pipe I could cap the bottom end and put a window in the side near the cap. I could then drop the cam down the pipe and dip it into the tank. The minimum focal distance is about a foot so it wont be able to get good closeups. This is just messing around with what I have anyway and nothing special. It's fun to play. Maybe someday I'll upgrade the cam and get one with zoom and focus... if they make any like that.
