ID this plant please

It is a native plant in my country - totally submersed plant mostly in big lake (the ones in the background). It is being sold as vegetable.

how does it taste? what is it called at the grocer or vendor who sells them as veggies?

Sorry that I asked to ID this plant for its scientific name. I saw someone's tank on the net with this plant in. Local people just call it paddle plant.

Looks like a Echinodorus argentenensis. Hard to tell from pic.

If it's a local pond plant, it won't be an Echinodorus. You won't find those in Cambodia.
