hehe. i'm a malaysian and i never seen them in my LFS either.
we do have another type of snail on sale which i see in one of the local LFS, they're much bigger than the snails you were looking for.
www.applesnail.net might have info on them. the u.k. might not allow them imported they are very prolific breeders......

Check out Aquabid. People are always selling Malaysian Trumpets on there.
