I have an XP3 filter, which keeps blowing bubbles out the spraybar. The flow is lower than normal, and I think this has something to do with it.

I have verified the intake is clear, and I don't see anywhere in the tubing that air could be getting in.

Perhaps the o-ring around the top of the filter is leaking, but I kinda have my doubts about that.

Anyone else have problems with one of these? What did you do to fix it?

Thanks,
David

PS - I also have an XP2 on the tank, so it is getting filtration, just not quite the flow want for it.

Thanks for the advice. I did re-prime it, and next time I see bubbles I am going to try moving it back and forth to work them out.

Depending on how old the gaskets are, I've had 2-3 year old units start bubbling and it turned out to be the gasket that fits between the pump and the baskets. It would shrink with the ends opening up as it aged. If this new gap lined up with the notches in the basket cover mine would bubble.

I ordered replacements from here, This has also turned out to be the cheapest place I can find parts as well.
