I have a 20 long with 8 cory aeneus cories, 3 sodalis cories, 2 juilies. Exactly 2 days old, I removed the old egg shells yesterday and did a water change. It was a very small batch of around 30 eggs as most were eaten. But this time around the eggs seemed larger than normal. And the fry are really really big compared to normal. It's been a while since I've tried to raise my c. aeneus cories, but I do remeber them being smaller. Anyhow enjoy all.

omg i love them!! i want my cories to breed sooooo badly! congratulations and keep us updated with pictures.... like every day lol

:clap::clap::clap: Congrats!! Pretty cool stuff, huh!

Hey Debbi! thanks for the advice about hatching tech. I still stuck with my old ways though lol, no offense of course! As an update for everyone else I had 2 batches before these all duds! No clue why but I think I might of been adding too much meth blue?? Anyhow 1 single drop this time and they did good. Only 2 eggs turned white and fungied away. Theres only 27 fry, usally 3-4 times as much. But it actually works out as it's eaiser to take care of them.

You can see pics of the parents in my profile, as with all my other fry and parents. lol yeah I'm a nut. I won't post too many more cory fry pics as they are very common. BUT I will post them in a seperate folder in my profile so check it out.

all my batches of eggs no matter what fish they came from have been duds so far:'( i give up im not even looking anymore lol theyll get it right when they darn well please.

Lol, I actually made one of those girly, squeely "oh their so cute" noises. Cute, cute, cute, precious, cute!!

I would also love to breed my cories, c. pygmaeus. Good job! They're so cute!

lol I would love to just get some! I never see them around here and I just rather not order any online. I keep looking though. Goodluck! There are others on this forum that breed them though.

they are at the 1 wk mark and are doing well "knock on wood" in my experience if they make it to the 1month mark they do fine from there on.
