I recently purchased a new heater for my tank. It's been about two weeks since it's been installed and running. None of my filter intakes, décor or anything else is collecting bubbles except for the heater. Is there a reason for the bubbles that keep on collecting on the outside of the heater?

Mine does it too...I always figured it was the heat from it's active cycle since heat makes gas expand, hence dissolved gasses in water changing to bubbles when in contact with the heater when it's actively heating.

The above makes sense to me.

That makes a lot of sense - assuming it's not harmful in any way?

Not at all, it's just air :)
