Hi guys, I'm establishing a 10 gallon tank with a few southeast asia fish including 6 harlequin rasboras and one male betta. I'm also including about 4 ghost shrimp. What common plants are native to southeast asia and small enough for this tank? Could I use regular aquarium gravel as a substrate?

Check out the plants in this Asian habitat package here:

I know the packages they sell are for bigger tanks, it'll at least give you somewhere to start.

Do a little research and it'll give you a better idea on what requirements will be needed to grow the plants you're interested in.

I hope that helped.

Good luck!
