At craiglist that is. Free tanks are always at least two hours of driving away./ After one has driven four hours there and back, is a free 20 gal tank worth it anymore?.
Not like I have that much room to play around with either.
Being lower middle class is quite limiting when it comes to hobbies that need room.
Fish for adoption are always the usual run of tankbusters.
The pacus in 55-125 tanks that are now too big, the oscars sometimes living in 10-30 gal tanks, the goldfish in the same size tanks and everyones' favorite the irredescent sharks. Small community fish only seem to be sold with the tanks they already live in and many are in strange mixed communities.
Partly due to greedy landlords, I can't afford a dog so I can only look longingly when I find a dog I might like. Generally it's filled with unwanted cats described with positive attributes to increase their chances of standing out among the multitudes of cats posted every day.
