A couple of years ago, I bought three kuhlis from a local store. Two of them got to be much larger than the third, and I've noticed that the third has a different pattern. His bands have little yellow dots in them. Got any idea what sub species it might be?

Extinct? Since when?
My Kuhlis did the same thing. I bought them with solid bands about 4 months ago, and now they got spots in their bands. I always thought it was because they rub on a smooth rock pile and it eventually wears out their skin color.
