how do U get brackish water?

i have read many articles about what brackish water is and they all tell a little different story also none of them tell how to make a tank brackish and because i am new at this i need a little help acheiving this water type:)

Brackish water happens when fresh water and sea water meet and mix.

You make brackish water in the hobby by dissolving marine mix in water to the specific gravty you want. This must be done in separate container, not in the tank with fish, as it take about 48 hours to fully dissolve and stabilize.
