Chow time for some...... and those little dots on the gravel are babies!
There were more eating but by the time I got camera ready everyone scattered but these guys.

I finally saw some RCS in person, and I was shocked at how teeny tiny they are. They would get lost in a tank! Though, I have a nice crop of Java Moss that catches a lot of crap out of the water, so I might just get some. :)

I have java moss in the tank and they seem to love it! There is always one of them on each clump of moss. It is only a 5 gallon tank just for them. Whisper 5-15 HOB filter,Temp 76 and 8watt 12" light, no heater.I find them to be active all hours of day or night.

The moss are plugs I took from a larger one and buried just enough in the gravel to keep it from floating away and getting stuck on the filter intake tube
