In my 240l tank I have a number of catfish; some Chocolate Raphaels, a Gibbiceps, a Snowball, an Albino BN, a Golden Nugget and up until recently a Rusty Plec. Eventually I will have to buy a bigger tank, but that's ok with me
All of the fish were getting along fine, except for the Rusty - he wasn't the biggest fish in the tank but his aggression was awful, he would constantly hassle the Snowball and the BN, and would even chase the Gibbiceps away from food. The Nugget would hardly ever move from his hidey hole under some bogwood when this guy was around.
I eventually took him back to the LFS, he was simply too aggressive. If anyone is thinking of introducing a Rusty into their environment, think twice; if my experience is anything to go by they can be very aggressive towards other Plecs.
