Hi everybody,
over the last week I've seen what I believe to be a couple flatworms pop up on the glass of my tank - and over the few days their numbers have seemed to multiply quite rapidly (probably about 15 of them on the glass now)
Just need to know -
1. what are they?
2. are they bad?
3. should I/how would I get rid of them?

thanks again!

Yes, they certainly are flatworms. Left unchecked, these can quickly get out of control. Sucking them out with a turkey baster, or employ the use of a product called "flatworm exit"..Or, you could go down the predator route...6 lines wrasses, true peppermint shrimp are two inhabitants that will feed on these and work towards clearing them up.

thanks reefscape, really like the idea of a peppermint shrimp, but my little snowflake eel doesn't need another expensive snack :)
Its amazes me how fast the worms are growing & reproducing, I think I might let em go for another few days to feed my curiosity then do a big worm cull :)

you could always get a nudibranch i know they eat flatworms but unfortunately once the flatworm population is gone you nudi will parish
