I've noticed over the past few days that my plants have bite marks in them, or what appear to be bites. Do these snails do that? Look below for what else is in the tank

Are your plants healthy? None of those inhabitants should eat healthy plants. I have never seen a nerite eating a plant, but they are serious algae eaters.

I know Nerite Snails to be extreme algae eaters...

According to a site, they eat "delicate plant leaves", but I doubt it... Any other inhabitants? Maybe a hitchhiking snail?

I have mine in a tank with rotala and pellia, they don't eat any there's over one nerites per gallon (Almost 30 in a 20 long, 8 species in there).

no other snails. There are a bunch of baby snails that resemble mystery snails that my snail might have had before it disappeared from my tank

I'm not quite following.. So there are no other snails or did you remove the other kinds?
