I need some slightly small fish that'll go with Catfish & a Shark. I'm guessing they'll need to be semi-agressive type.

Pictus Cat & Rainbow Shark. 55gal tank. I want small ones that'll fend off the pictus when he comes to eat them :D

How about Blue Guarami's? Will they be like "Hey Catfish, my school will eat you if you eat me"?

im guessing a 55g wont be big enough for a school of gouramis with RB shark and Pictus Cat,not sure.Maybe a school of 7 Tiger Barbs.

What's....not going to get eaten by the catfish, even if they do fit in it's mouth? My shark is thin enough to fit in it's mouth half way, and it doesn't get eaten.

Tiger barbs eaten by pictus? I doubt it. They are bulky in size when full grown. The issue will be more on tiger barbs ripping the pictus' whiskers.

My rainbow shark swims around with seven arulius barbs in a 50gal Asian community tank. They live peacefully with a pair of rainbow snakeheads and an Asian bumblebee catfish.

My pictus cats are in a different tank as they don't fit the Asian theme, so I can't really say much about their compatibility with the arulius barbs.

All of my neons are gone, so once I move these to a bigger tank I'll get some other agressive fishies. I'll keep my 10g as a community tank
