I'm going planted, well ok semi-planted!

I asked MsJ for plants for dummies! I have never had any live plants so wish me luck!

I got java fern for my 65 hex. I can't put too much more than that in there as there is no way anything but low light plants are going to work with a tank that is 29" deep without spending a ton of money on lighting.

I got java fern, java moss, coffeefolia (sp?) anubias, & saggitaria (sp?) for my 55 gal.

And I got java moss, and petite anubias for my 5 gal hex. As well as cherry shrimp to put in there with my betta. I guess I will find out if the betta and shrimp can live together.

I took pictures before I started planting so I can do the before and after pics, however, I am new at this natural look so we will see how it goes.

I will post pics later tonight once I have gotten all 3 redone.

Oh yeah, have hornwort from ladyblues1965 to float on the way.

Here they are. Remember this is my first try at plants, so don't be too critical. I think I need more plants. We will see after I get the hornwort. The little neon hut in the hex the Rams have decided it is the spawning site so I couldn't take it out, and the bright colored "rocks" in the little hex are my 7 year olds contribution. I will try and get clearer pics tomorrow.
