I just discovered that ammo lock completely wipes out algae!
I recently tore my tank apart and cleaned everything with a 1/19 solution of bleach. I rinsed everything really well but still got some ammo lock just in case.
After a couple weeks, the algae started coming back albeit slowly. I think some of the ammonia was still in the driftwood since I was starting to see very slight signs of ammonia on the tests. Anyways, I put in some ammo lock and I could see if falling on top of the driftwood,..........the next day all the algae was wiped clear from the spots the ammo lock fell!!!
Any comments on why it would wipe out algae that quick and that good?!
