I just set up my diy co2 system about 45 minutes ago and I have the air line directly under my powerhead .....Now I have read many places that I need to chop the bubbles up into tiny ones, my setup is doing that but I am wondering if it is way too much.....
I am not a fan of bubbles all over my tank, but my setup seems to be dispersing the co2 evenly through the whole tank and that's way more important than me not liking the bubbles....
Input please!!!!! Here is a video of my setup and what it is doing

That's pretty cool from a mechanical view. How's your power head sound? Looks like it would be noisy.
I think two things may help a little; bring the power head and C02 output a little lower and deflect the output from those filters so that the C02 stays in the water a little longer.
That would give better C02 distribution throughout the tank.

powerhead doesn't make any noise at all, and most of the bubbles just hang around and fly all over the tank and not to the top and pop

well i know it's only been a day, but it already looks like the plants are doing better so it must be working

For someone who doesn't like bubbles you have more bubbles in any planted tank i have ever seen. i'd look into buying a co2 reator or even make one do a web search and you'll see they can be made very easily. Your power head can push the water through reactor and trust me your plants will love the disolved co2. but keep an eye on your fish if they swim at the top of the tank and look to be sucking at the surface you have to much co2
