Urgent! Is this playsand usable? (pic included)

hi, I just brought this playsand at home depot and was wondering if i can use it in my upcomming malawi tank.

Thank you guys, this means hard work tonight, I gotta wash 40 Kg by the end of tonight and I also gotta do a 100% water change. (to get rid of the tannins because its turning into a cichlid tank) Oh and do you think 40 kg is enough?

yeah. just wash it really well. it took me forever to rinse mine out but it looks great in the tank.

how big is the tank? it should be lots. i did my 50 and my 30 with that much and i had some left over

I'll get to work after dinner, my tank is a standard 55 gallon, I plan on having around 1 inch of sand. I brought 2 bags, how many do you think I would need? (I thought i needed at least 50 kg and I was short on sand...)
 
Oh and what is a good way to clean it? I have heard about the pillow case method, how exactly do i use it? Are the small particles small enough to go through?
