Two scenarios here

I have two tanks running DIY CO2. Both are being diffused with standard airstones. Tank A however, I have the airstone directly under a Hagan Ladder. Tank B, I have the airstone near the output of the HOB. Thinking about switching to one of the glass diffusers on this tank.

Which do you think would be the better scenario? Tank A or Tank B

Secondly...would it be even better to bury/hide an airstone in a grouping of dense plants? Just curious if that would lead to better trapping of the CO2 bubbles resulting in better saturation?

Limewood airstones under a broad leafed or dense patch of smaller leafy plants, or under the intake of a decent canister filter would be my pick over a ladder. Glass diffusers work too, but the one I tried out tended to be quite noisy, so I replaced it /w a polymer one. I also have some stainless steel one sthat work pretty well (I use 1/8" PEEK tubing, so I have a wide variety of ready made things originally designed as "inlet frits" for liquid chromatographs to choose from).
