Feeding cichlids brine shrimp

I`ve noticed in the profile for the Aulonocara species that brine shrimp are one of the suggested foods.I have some questions about brine shrimp..
1. Are you supposed to feed them live brine shrimp?If yes, do you hatch them out and then feed them.
2. Would the freeze dried cubes that you get a the lfs suffice?
3. How about feeding them frozen brine shrimp?Do you thaw them out and then give them to them?

1. Sure..live is great. Raise 'em or buy 'em.
2. Mine like freeze dried as well..
3. Yep..mine love frozen too :). Thaw 'em in tank water and eye dropper them in...
