I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good thermometer. I suspected something was wrong with the thermometer I was using so I decided to install another one. When I saw the big difference between the two, I bought another one to see which one was off. But instead I'm getting three different readings and its pretty frustrating. All three probes for each thermometer are also in the same exact place. Any recommendations/advice? Thanks

I use the digital in tank one.

I've had luck with glass thermometers all being the same as each other (within a degree). Then yesterday, I bought one that's 4 degrees F out
Edit: I wish there was a glass thermometer that I could buy for $10 (that was worth it, I mean) instead of the $2 ones that are all I can find these days.
There is a nice digital one that sells for $50 that sets off an alarm when too hot or cold and tells me when to do water changes and filter cleaning but for all I know it's the same cheap digital sensor with just the extra features.

Well I think I've figured out that the thermometer in the middle had gone bad so I threw it out, the other two as well as a cheap sticker type thermometer that is on the glass are all within one degree of each other. The one I threw out was the only one I was using until a week ago and it was like 4-6 degrees below what it should have been which means when it read 80 - 82 degrees it might have even been as high as 86-88 degrees.
