Im my 110 gal. I have some really prolific socolofi's, probably 15-20, at least. I plan on taking some of them to the lfs for a credit. How many would be a good number to keep in my tank at one time? It seems that with that many, aggression seems pretty high, and am afraid to buy any other kind of fish until I thin them out. I bought some johannis, which seemed to have disappeared. It has been 4 days, and have not seen them.:rant2:

Whats do you plan to add?

I would like to try Johannis again, this time get 4 or 5 instead of a pair. I have a pair of auaratuses, I had more, but only have 2 now. I have a feeling that the male did the other ones in. Every time I try and replace the auratuses, they end up going missing. And I have a melanchromis cyanorhabdos(Maingano). I only have the male, haven't been able to find any females. I also have holding female cocolofi's in the my tank right now. A real fry factory! :grinno: I did notice that after the father of all of the present cocolofi's died, the mother to all of them stopped having babies. But now, some of her female offspring are currently holding. And on top of that, I have a frontosa my son-in law gave me 3 1/2 yr. ago. I have never seen him go after any of the smaller fish. Not to say he doesn't, just never seen it. He is like a slug, doesn't do much of anything, just hangs out, keeps to himself.

hey nano i would add a few more frontosa aye, hehehe, i like the fronts aye, if you couldnt tell, mine are a ball of fun to watch but mostly they just keep to themselves except my male leader for some reason he hates my synodontis everytime a syno comes around him he has to bite at it and chase the cat away i guess he was abused by a syno when he was younger before i recieved him, later buddy..

Retain 1 male and 3 females and trade or sell the rest if you want a group of them, or keep just one, it depends on your intentions.
