i have some plants that i tied on too a piece of driftwood. How long before i untie them?

it would probably take a couple weeks for roots to attach to it, but im no expert

mine usually take about 3-4 weeks before I can trust that my fish wont take em away lol. they get rough sometimes and dislodge stuff so it's better to be safe than sorry! cant wait for pretty pics! Oh and btw you dont have to tie them down hardcore because then sometimes they look bad a couple strands of clear fishing wire makes it almost invisible!

What plant specimens are involved? If they are java ferns, you'll likely need many months; they are notoriously slow in everything that they do.

use black cotton thread it will degrade on its own and by then the plants will be rooted
