I have 1 female shrimp, yep 1 and she did have a saddle on her, now there is not one. is this weird or what? I would have liked to have some babies, heck more would be nice but the female I have will not produce. She is healthy and eating well, but no babies. OYE

Yeah, you must have a male otherwise the eggs she produces will not be fertilized. If they aren't fertilized, no babies!

So she was saddled, but did not become berried? I assume you have both sexes of shrimp. What else is in with them?

She could have layed her eggs, then dropped them. Assuming there are males with her also.

She is in with snails. I saw a saddle, then all of a sudden after having one no saddle. so weird. I see some males in the tank, there not really red, sort of clear. she is bright red.

Give her time...
Soon you will have plenty.
She'll saddle up again.
Yes, the males are less red, they have what looks like stripes. wheras the females are more solid in color..
