Sorry to say I can't read it, even with glasses off and nose nearly touching the screen. Reason: colors do not contrast. They are soft on soft. When that happens I just go elsewhere that I can read the print. Since I am in the minority group you may want to just leave it and I will check thru here.

Gallery is a good idea, need to ink the stock list to that photo.
Maybe even include requirements with plants and fish.
I think wholesale list should be password protected.

it got placed on a back burner and i figured best way to get it done is to start telling people about it..... this way i am forced to fix it lol.... i just tossed what i had up on there and will go from there.

Nice start MG...gl with the biz....I would definately work on the background. I do web dev stuffs myself and the backgrounds and screen sizes are always the tricky parts.

Hi Bob, congrats on the new site!

I have some feedback, let me know what you think.

Pictures are important, at first click through to the site, there aren't any pictures that pop and make me want to click further into the site.

Sales, people love things on sale no matter what it is in some cases. Find something and make it your weekly sale item.. heck make it buy 5 get 1 free or who knows... just find a way to put something new on sale with a nice pic on the homepage.

The categories IMO needs to be on the left side instead of the right.. I'm used to seeing spam ads on the right side of any site, so even if there were little pictures, some might think it's not part of your site.

Category pictures... again, something that easily let's people know what that section is, without having to read (people are lazy!) is nice.

And finally, i think someone already said it, but the background is sorta bright. Don't get me wrong I love the color, but with the contrast of the white letters, it could be hard difficult for some to read. A little darker hue would look nice too.

Might I suggest a PO Box, even if it's just a PO Box, any sort of physical address is comforting. The first thing I look for is a physical address and contact information OTHER than E-mail. You shouldn't rely on a e-mail form on the website either, if the coding were to get messed up or should it fail, you should list other ways to contact you...even if you feel it's a bit excessive...

That being said, I would never buy anything from your website. While I buy through AC and aquabid now, many of which offer no physical address, I have avenues to collect my money should I be taken for a sucker. Plus, they are all small purchases. With a website I would place a much larger order in the $50+ range and would most certainly find another website to buy from since you offer no physical address at all.

Now, you have some stuff I want... Maybe I'll try it out at the end of the week. ;)

Sure everyone familiar with you from forums is likely going to be comfortable and have no problems buying from you, but now that your site is up and running your websites name is going to get tossed around on the forums and all it really takes is a couple people who are really peeved by your contact information & response times to really slow business down for you since there isn't much of a business history. But those people coming from Google or Yahoo are going to be turned off quickly by that.

Anothing thing I'd do is hotlink the plant pictures to larger versions.

Last suggestion - no "More" buttons w/o more stuff to see.

well i have a great coder so unless i do something really stupid it should work. i will also add a link to the email there. when i will take orders right though the site it will be though paypal shopping cart. the feed back is a good point. i might add links to the feedback i have on the different sites i go to so people know who i am. also using paypal people can click my profile and seen i been with paypal over 8 years which is nice. for now its basically i place to keep all my stuff update and in one spot vs having to change 3-4 posts on different sites.

its just a start and things will be changed over time. thanks again for the feedback.

i just figured out the gallery last night and will be doing that with the pics.

i already removed some of the mores but still have more to remove lol..... also trying to make sure all the links work too....

Everyday I'm hustlin'.... ;P In the invert section, you have the price for the shrimp/snails, but you aren't specific on how many you will receive for that price. Perhaps, you should clarify seeing as 1 dollar seems like a lot for an MTS even with reproduction hehe. :)
